The Caterpillar

this morning as I sit

in the stillness of the moment

into my presence

comes the caterpillar

not remarkable to look upon

a simple and humble being

yet as I am aware

he speaks lesson that I hear

of walking in the way

one is created to be

not running ahead

not lagging behind

traveling the path

in just the right time

no fear of the moment

cocoon is to envelop

providing for transformation

no regrets for not being

any other than he be

content in his creation

complete in his design

and very simply

in his being

he, my heart reminds

to travel my path

living life on time

embracing transformation

content in my creation

complete in my design

a simple and humble being

just as

Writing Your Book

Each day you write yet another segment of the book entitled your life. In the end it will not matter the size of your bank account or the number of your toys but what you placed on those pages. The love you gave away, the love you received, the light and the darkness and how you graced each.

How do you want your book to read? You hold the pen with each choice that you make. Yes, you choose what to make of each moment. There is no good or bad, only moments and choices. Those choices you make write the lines on each page.

What legacy do you choose to leave behind? When you book is finally completed, how do you want it to be defined? Inspirational, motivational, thought provoking, moving? It’s yours to write.

MYSELF

I was faced with the prospect today of briefly writing about my professional self and my goals. Notice it was to be brief. I have had a diverse professional career so brief is a challenge. Suddenly I noticed a pattern in all that I have done and here is what I came up with as a "brief" answer. Enjoy :)

I have endeavored to do many things over my life and they all include, in some part, helping others along my way.

My Passion is to find that thing, that key, that a person has been looking for that empowers them to achieve what they long to achieve.  My joy, my success, lies in the spark in the eye and smile on the face when a person discovers the key was within them all along and now they can open the door to the destination they've been longing for.

My Purpose is to serve as a Beacon of Light ~ shining for all to see.

My Goal is to leave this planet, at least my small corner of it, better off than I found it.

May you Love like you have no fear and Live like you have no tomorrow.
