For it is ours to wonder

at the wonder

that is life

ours to marvel

at the magnificence

of all that is

to see the magic

the miracle

in each breath we breath

and glory

in the grace

that surrounds us

in this place

yes, it is ours to wonder

at the wonder

that is life

as we lift our hearts

to heavens gates

shining love

that cannot wait

A Continual State of Being

A Continual State of Being

I am sore confused
of this perception which I see
that others view prayer
as something to be used when in need
or a duty to be fulfilled
'cause someone told them too

in truth, prayer is
a continual state of being
speaking from the heart
to the one by whom created

and meditation is the moments
when one shuts up and listens
not a pose or a route
to a higher understanding

yes, i am sore confused
at the delusion of the masses
that prayer and meditation
are to be scheduled as if a meeting
when we should observe them both
as a continual state of being

Shining Lovely Bright

There are billions

upon billions

of angels

hiding in plain sight

shining bright

shining bright

were we but to see

past the darkness

we carry ‘round

the illumination

the splendor

would drop us

to the ground

yet as we choose

to walk on through

the doorway

to the light

our eyes adjust

till soon they must

see only light

shining lovely bright

It is the divine

illuminating a path

for All

Where I AM

Where I AM

in the stillness

between each breath

this is where you find me

in the quiet

between each thought

this is where

Seek and You Will See

Seek and You Will See

I know not of what I shall write
I only know I must
my pen has been idle far too long
my paper parched as desert sand

So here I am
heart full of love
head in the stars
feet on this planet earth

ever sowing
that which
heart may sing
let the chorus ring
sound the trumpet loud
ready to announce
dawning of the new

darkness has no place
in Love's Divine display
waiting not
another day

seek and you will see
heaven's pathway be
clearly with you
within me

seek and you will see

Rising Sun

I love the beauty of the rising sun
laying ribbons of light upon the land
bringing promise of the gift
of a new day
another chance to share
the magic of the Great Love
that is
May your day be received
as a gift of love
for it is "your present"

The Caffeine Web

Did you know that the effects of caffeine on spiders was worse than the effects of Marijuana, Benzedrine, & Chloral Hydrate?  I was shocked to learn this!

In 1995, NASA’s Dr. David Noever and his fellow researchers at the Marshall Space Flight Center studied the webs spun by common house spiders (Araneus diadematus) dosed with several drugs, including marijuana, benzedrine, chloral hydrate and caffeine. The more toxic the drug, the less organized the web the spider created. Here is a link to just one article about it.

If you can't live without your coffee, like me:) you'll be as excited as I was to find SereniGy Gourmet Coffees infused with 100% Certified USDA Organic Ganoderma.  Haven't heard of ganoderma? Here's a good place to start your education  Etchings of ganoderma have been found in the Forbidden City and it has been referred to as "the herb of immortality!"  Who doesn't want to maintain the health of youth?

My Mission is to Empower Everyone for Wellness. One vehicle I found to achieve that is through my SereniGy business. If you have a passion to be healthy and see other healthy ~ let me know ~ I want to help you help yourself and others. ID #104410.

Peace is not bought nor attained through earthly things.  Peace is born of Love. The Center of the Galaxy - Super Massive Black Hole

Is there a Massive Black Hole at the Center of our Galaxy?

Having had "Much Metta" expressed towards me, I wanted to learn what it meant. It felt very loving but I am a curious being so I had to learn about it. With great joy I share with you what I have learned thus far. ~

Mettā (Pāli; Devanagari: मेत्ता) or maitrī (Sanskrit) is loving-kindness,[1][2] friendliness,[3][4][5] benevolence,[2][4] amity,[3] friendship,[4] good will,[4] kindness,[6] love,[3] sympathy,[3] close mental union (on same mental wavelength),[4] and active interest in others.[3]

It is one of the ten pāramīs of the Theravāda school of Buddhism, and the first of the four sublime states (Brahmavihāras). This is love without clinging (upādāna).
The cultivation of loving-kindness (mettā bhāvanā) is a popular form of meditation in Buddhism. In the Theravadin Buddhist tradition, this practice begins with the meditator cultivating loving-kindness towards themself,[7] then their loved ones, friends, teachers, strangers, enemies, and finally towards all sentient beings. In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, this practice is associated with tonglen (cf.), whereby one breathes out ("sends") happiness and breathes in ("receives") suffering.[8] Tibetan Buddhists also practice contemplation of the four immeasurables, which they sometimes call 'compassion meditation'[9]
"Compassion meditation" is a contemporary scientific field that demonstrates the efficacy of metta and related meditative practices.

Ganoderma - The Miraculous King of Herbs

Ganoderma is considered the number one Anti Aging herb in the world. Of the hundreds of healthy nutrients, Ganoderma has many antioxidants and other nutrients that can support the body in reversing and slowing down the aging process. The effects of the Ganoderma antioxidants can reduce and reverse DNA damage and oxidative stress on the cells in your body. They can also control or inhibit the damage of free radicals which are a major cause of cell degeneration, aging and disease.

The Ganoderma Polysaccharides can reverse aging of your immune system, digestive system, blood sugar and pancreatic functions. These polysaccharides can also help your body protect itself against early breakdown of the cells throughout your body and in your skin which can lead to wrinkles. The lack of proper cellular detoxification is a major factor in aging and the ganoderma polysaccharides have been found to help the cells of your body eliminate these accumulated toxins on a daily basis.

Another important nutrient in Ganoderma is Germanium which has been found to Increase the levels of oxygen in the body which can improve the health and vitality of all the cells of your body and lead to a strong immune system and increased energy. Other nutrients in Ganoderma help with anti-aging by increasing the body's metabolism, efficiency of the digestive system, increased healing, improved circulation resulting in improved energy production.

Beauty Foods

Eating well is just as important for beautiful skin as the products you put on your skin. I found a great article in the Energy Times magazine that listed the best foods for beautiful skin. My favorite is the dark chocolate, which I personally think should be a food group. ;) I've listed the highlights and created a link to the magazine at the bottom of this blog.

Dark Chocolate is packed with phytonutrients. The flavonols found in dark chocolate have been shown to increase blood flow - good for the heart and the skin. The recommendation is an ounce of at least 60% cacao chocolate.

Tomatoes provide beta-carotene, calcium, iron, lutein/zeaxanthin, lycopene, magnesium, potassium, vitamins C and E. Wow, all that in a tomato!

Yogurt provides B-complex vitamins (stress defense), calcium, phosphorus, potassium, and probiotics to keep your system running smooth.

Blueberries contain anhtocyanins (protect collagen from free-radicals), ellagic acid, lutein/zeaxanthin, potassium, and vitamins C and E.

Walnuts offer copper, ellagic acid ( a potent antioxidant that helps ease inflammation and retard collagen breakdown), L-arginine, manganese, melatonin, omega-3 fats, and vitamin E.

Spinach provides alpha lipoic acid (ALA) (works with other antioxidants in the skin to reduce inflammation caused by the sun), beta-carotene, folate, lutein/zeaxanthin, magnesium, potassium, and vitamins C and E.

There are more foods out there that a good for you so don't stop here. A wise doctor told me once "the key to health is a colorful plate." Make sure to choose organic as often as you can. A certified nutritionist friend told a class I was in that any food not organic can be GMO.

Wishing you wellness!
