Empowering Wellness Meditation Classes

What is Meditation?
The English meditation is derived from the Latin meaning “to think, contemplate, devise, ponder, meditate”*. Meditation is and has been a practice of religious traditions including Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islamic, and Taoist. Although commonly connected with religion or spiritual enlightenment, by nature mediation is entered into any time one is focused in thought or contemplation.

In over 1,000 published research studies, various methods of meditation have been linked to changes in metabolism, blood pressure, brain activation, and other bodily processes.  Meditation has been used in clinical settings as a method of stress and pain reduction.*

Balancing Meditation

  • Come sitting with legs folded in front. Be certain you are comfortable
  • Breath deeply from the belly
  • Place your hands on you knees, palms up to receive
  • Breath in deeply and release
  • Bring hands together in a prayer at the heart center
  • Open your heart to God, invite God fully into your heart, receive fully
  • take your hands, place them against your forehead between the brows and press them there
  • bring your eyes to that space, go deep within
  • return your hands to a prayer at your heart center
  • hold that space open
  • place your hands on your knees, palm up to receive and say out loud

With my right hand ~ I receive all blessings from Divine Source
I carry them from my right hand to my heart with gratitude
With love my heart sends forth to my left hand all blessings Divine to shine forth on all creation

As it is ~ so shall it every be

A Continual State of Being

A Continual State of Being

I am sore confused
of this perception which I see
that others view prayer
as something to be used when in need
or a duty to be fulfilled
'cause someone told them too

in truth, prayer is
a continual state of being
speaking from the heart
to the one by whom created

and meditation is the moments
when one shuts up and listens
not a pose or a route
to a higher understanding

yes, i am sore confused
at the delusion of the masses
that prayer and meditation
are to be scheduled as if a meeting
when we should observe them both
as a continual state of being

The Forgiveness Meditation

This was sent to me by a friend and I cannot help but share it with everyone. Enjoy :)

A simple and ultimately profound meditation is to close you eyes and breathe in the word "I" and exhale the words "forgive you."

Silently repeat “I forgive you” as long as needed and apply to all thoughts, feelings, and any other phenomena or sense of self or "other" in your meditation until still.

Neither reason, nor knowledge of an event is required to forgive.
Forgiveness is complete within itself, transcending all knowledge and reason.
It peels away the layers of judgment we hold on everything until we are finally left in the silent Love of God.

Our ultimate truth is unconditional Love.
Forgive means to first give (fore give).
All you really have to give from inside is unconditional Love.
The rest is conditioned responses of which you can also forgive.

It is wonderful to do going to sleep and waking up so that it penetrates deep into the subconscious.

Practicing this meditation instills the habit of being, knowing, and remembering love.
To first present unconditional love causes the spontaneous erasing of memories resulting in “forgive and forget.”

Only judgment holds onto past memories or future fears keeping you dead or asleep to your Truth.

“Forgiveness dissolves all but Love.”
