The Night
as I sit here
and listen
in the stillness of
the night
the wind whispers
of magic
as fireflies take flight
the trees talk
of history
and guardians of light
the stars sing
of mystery
and remembering our sight
still I sit
and listen yet
to magic
history
mystery
and light
here in the coolness
and the stillness of
