One Point of Light

one point of light

in darkened sky

I wonder why

you so fear

opening your eyes

for darkness only serves

to make light shine brighter

yes I shine here

in daylight bright

watching over you

same as the night

open your eyes

let fear release

open your eyes

let yourself see

I am with you

in dark of night

and light of day

a yellow resonant star

reminding you of love

of beauty and of grace

one point of light

open your eyes

see your light

shine it bright

in darkest night

and broad daylight

that you may remind

others of love

of beauty of grace

one point of light

becoming many

that all may see
